Is anyone going to southern Deleware this weekend for the Punkin Chunkin World Championship?
I am heading up there in the morning to see the catapults throwing pumpkins.

I stayed most of the day today.
"Second Amendment" was still in first place for longest distance after all the air cannons finished up. I think that it was 3,500 or 3,600 feet.
Today they were shooting into a strong head wind, so they were not going as far.
After all the catapults finished their competition shots, there was going to be an open range. That would be awesome to watch all the catapults and air cannons fling pumpkins everywhere.

I helped our Webelos build some cool table-top Trebuchets this year. I hope to build a larger model around the time they cross over to Boy Scouts. Hey...you never know. I want to make the first larger model big enough to throw 8-10 pounders.
