late last winter the orange angel foundation was established with the specific goal of helping those in need
im very proud to report that in its first year of opperation we raised $1,350.00
next thursday at 1 pm the foundation will present twenty five winter coats ,hats and gloves to children of need at the john f horgan elementary school in west warwick ri. its the school where my deseased son richard attended as a child and in his memory a great place to start
i could not have accomplished this without the help and generous donations of many people. in no special order/ the new hampshire giant pumpkin growers, the southern new england giant pumpkin growers, all participants at the three 50/50 raffles we held, gary at bori graphix, jim in ct,gary and sandy in california, susan warren, rose and eddie giarrusso, sue jutras, linda sperry, catherine wallace, joel holland and erin huff.
the oaf also purchased home study books for vinnie d (ri) who is a disabled young man wishing to continue his education.
any balance of funds will more than likely go to a couple shelters in the area who are in desperste need of food supplies and clothing for the children. its dishearting to see the young children and their families many who for no other reason than a few bad breaks landed them in this situation.
all proceeds and/donations go toward these good causes. nothing is held back. a little bit in abundance makes a lot. if you care to donate to this worth while cause pls send your donation to
oaf co dick wallace 860 plainfield pike greene ri 02827
thank you

Hi, pap, good initiative. Here at the Frisian Islands children are fine. But elswhere I found a lot af needs for children especially in Africa, India and Nepal.
They get clothes and nets. The nets are there to prevent them agains malaria mosquito's. For a few dollars children can sleep safe now.
Last year 8 children died, because of nets lacking. Now in 6 villages there is no childmortality, in these villages we hand out these nets. Malaria ( a horrible sickness thriough own experience) is for 95% banned now.
10 more villages to go for $5 per net.. our site is in English too: www.ontwikkelingswerktheokiewiet.nl or google just my name.
Pap, good luck with your work, we continue and do our best too.
Regards, Theo.
