Every year I've done different things with the pumpkin. Everyone has been asking me what I'm doing to my pumpkin this time, and I just don't really have any cool ideas.
I have used the shell as a body and made a "pumpkin person"... did my best to carve a skull into the fruit... cut out the ribs making a pumpkin jail cell with a zombie inside holding onto the cell bars... carved USA into one after 9-11... carved rock group logos into some... carved out the Tampa Bay Buccaneers pirate flag logo in another, cut out many different typical pumpkin faces...
I'm sure I could revist some of the old ideas, but I'd like to do something original I haven't done yet or that anyone hasn't seen in these parts. Perhaps there are ideas out there or cool things others have already done that might inspire me and others. Anything goes here, and I have the wifes 916, my 1005, and a 956 squash to do something with. I don't think the local carving guy is going to call, so I'm on my own again this year. Usually I already have something in mind or already done by now, so if anyone has any suggestions....

A cool carving of the ROCKY mountains being smothered by a pair of giant glowing RED SOX comes to mind.....

Someone emaild me and said to find a 4th pumpkin and carve a single letter in each spelling out a 4 letter very bad word.... lol... not in conservative Colorado! People here get bent out of shape over basically nothing as it is...

I have an Eagles logo drawn on the face of one of my 150 lb pumpkins. I don't have the balls to try and carve it yet.
