Hello!

Brooks thanks for the praise! Glad you enjoyed the film, we had a wonderful time making it.

If anyone else is interested, you can check Amazon (their supply will be updated shortly) or you can get it directly from us (cheaper through us and our preferred way as Amazon takes a hefty cut).

I also have watched this very well done documentary! It was fun watching from the state fair through the Stillwater weighoff! I'm even in the Austin weighoff part...my best side lol. Anyways, if you liked Lord of the Gourds...you will really like this one!

It's a great movie. Nice and laid back. Well done, but not so well done that it takes away from the aspect of the growing as WE know it. Lots of heartache as well as lots of reward.

Lots of growers in the movie. I genuinely enjoyed it. Some drunk guy from Iowa is in it also....I think you'll see him on GMA this coming Tuesday :) "If youuu could growwww any threeeeee seeds"....lol. I really need to hang out with this guy.

OK what can I say that has not already been said...The thing is just perfect when it comes to the year in the life of a true giant pumpkin grower..Beth said Bill Foss is an exact copy of me (and she had to add a few inches taller and thinner of course) The looks on his face..the heart aches ...the surprises.. everything is perfect if you ask me. I have it and have watched it 4 times.
Wonderful job and the dedication to getting it all on tape just awesome. it's a must

I watched it several times as well and it is AWESOME!!! A must have for every giant pumpkin grower. Like Dan said, everything expressed in the film and Bills expressions are as real as it gets. It was a welcome change from some of the how to videos out there, this one is different as it tells the story of a giant pumpkin grower. Two thumbs up Ryan, its PERFECT!!!!

Thanks everyone! It's been a pleasure.

Congrats to all the big (and little) growers this year. I'm totally impressed.

Don, would one of your three seeds be the Young 1662?

I'll chip in my two cents. If you havent made the decision to buy this yet...do it. For all the people in your life that just dont get why you are so enthralled in this hobby, the DVD does all the talking for you. Poor Bill. I felt so bad for him after watching the vid. but then he won the MN state record and i didnt feel so bad. Actually, i kinda felt like i needed to whoop his butt in stillwater.
