Rob and Tony and all Southern Ohio growers, what a great show! And Dr. Bob, Congratulations! And to all the rest of you, if you have never been to Circleville, it is truly a wonderful experience. You get to see some beautiful giants(New State Record!), talk to some of the best growers in our Great State of Ohio. Thousands of people line the streets to look at the giant pumpkins, take pictures and ohhh and ahhh. And you get to eat everything pumpkin you can imagine. This year I had Deep Fried Pumpkin Blossoms. It was kind of sacreligious (sp) eating what you so want to see in July, but they were so good. Then there are pumpkin pancakes, pumpkin sloppy joes, pumpkin pizza, pumpkin burgers, PUMPKIN CHEESECAKE, it goes on and on.
If you get the chance, Come to Circleville. Not to sound like a commercial but.....It's worth the trip!!! Check out their web site...Pumpkinshow.com.
