Baum, take a deep breath and catch yourself for a minute. All of the posts you have put up are worthy questions. Do a search on these topics first and see what comes up, it will usually be lots of info, this time of the year the growers are busy preparing the patch or taking a few minutes to rest or let other family members have a break from the insanity of all this. What condition is your soil? Worry about the seeds in about a month, plenty of generous growers here who will give you seeds including myself. Your enthusiasm reminds me of me last year.

Docgipe stated it is like a vitamin pill when used as a foliar. It works great with compost tea. The sugar stimulates growth of the beneficial bacteria. Things to watch for are that it may attract animals and diseases that like sugar.
