I've seen my buddy spread liquid cow manure on his farm (they are dairy farmers) and I can tell you it was one of the grossest experiences of my life.
Loaded all the slurry into huge holding tanks and then attached the flinger and drove the trailer around the corn field....whew what a smell.
Ya Clarence, it would work great but very hard to spread unless you have the equipment and stinks to high heaven cause it sits for months before they use it. I could never use it in my urban setting...neighbours would not have it.

Cows constantly poo diarrhea and then they clean up the barns with high powered water cannons that carry the slurry into holding pits or tanks....very gross...!!

we have a beef farm, but the neighbor has dairy. thier fields get a good dose of the liquid manure. He told me that it takes alot more of the liquid compared to the other because it is more diluted.
silage is fed to the dairy cattle and makes runnier manure. that manure it washed out of the parlors which makes it more watery.
but it will all work

I personally don't like the idea of liquid poo. Liquid is simply EVERYTHING washed out of a barn to a lagoon. How much "bonus" material are you getting in the liquid?? Yuck!

Dan the question is how is it stored? Air tight or lagoon.

test it before you use it. lots of dairys today use copper footbaths for treating foot disorders. when the solution is no longer viable for treatment many just put it in with the rest of the slurry. if you use it incorporate it as soon as possible

Ther are 2 types of daries in our area, one is day, and one is wet. The wet dairies are running around pumping large abounts of soils ans liquids every were that can. Dry daries seporate the manure soilds from the water. These soilds will break down in the patch fast, You end up with a nice soil to grow in. I used some of the raw liquid in my patch last year and rotted off 2 big stumps. You should be able to get the seperated stuff for free in large amounts. Moving it is a pain if you don't have a dump truck.
