I'm a new grower and I'm 10 years old. I live in Sparks, NV and I need some seeds for next season. I went to the Fall Festival in Auburn CA and I received some Atlantic Giant seeds there. I don't know if this is the best seed for my high desert climate but I would like to try others also. Please send seeds if you can. Thanks

Baum, post this in the seed exchange thread. You will need to send a bubble envelope postage paid to who ever you get seeds from. There are a couple of unwritten rules for asking for seeds from here, as there should be. Also, you might consider joining a club, they will send you seeds when you join. Most clubs are open to anyone, any where. Check and see if there are any clubs near you or in the same climate. You can check out the genetics of the seeds you have at this link:

My advise, get on this site every day and learn as much as you possibly can. Go to the chat rooms, read the boards and pay attention. You may not break any records next year, but you will grow a nice sized pumpkin.

I forgot to say...good luck and grow em big! My email address is [email protected]. Please feel free to email me any questions you may have. I have only been growing for 2 years. I will send you some seeds from my pumpkins from this past season. They were both over 400 pounds. The genetic lines are great and they could grow one a lot bigger.
