I asked my girlfriend and folks for one for Christmas. I was just woondering if any of yall use them and if ya like them. I currently use a 25 gallon atv sprayer and it works great for initial sprays like when I spray humic acid and mollases in the patch before I plant but it only gets the tops of the leavse and not the underside. Do ya like them and whats their spray range etc..any feedback would be nice and if ya dont like yours I would be more then glad to take it of your hands..Just joking.

I used one this year. IMO its not built all that well. Floods often and its very awkward when filled with liquid (top heavy). With that said it does a great job of what it is designed for. I would purchase again.

Good responses I seen it being used in Lord of the Gourds I believe and it just looks like it would do a good job of covering the plant. Ive been trying to buy one of E-bay but always get out bid. Do they have a good range of spray though my atv sprayer goes 30 feet. I plan on using mine for pesticides and continue to use my atv sprayer for disease control. I hate those pump sprayers I have 8 at the house and they are a pain in the butt. Thanks for the replys

I have a Shihl backpack gas-powered blower/sprayer. It runs perfect for me. Never have had a problem with it starting or running. That said, it's advantages do out weigh is drawbacks. It cut my spraying time by 2/3rds. It is quite heavy when fully loaded and would not recommend it for a woman. When empty, mine weighs 27 lbs. With 3+ gallons of spray we're talking over 50 lbs. Should one lose their footing on a walking board, it's possible to get off balanced and fall down....I have yet to have this happen to me....but have come close. Then again, I have been through two back surgeries......and I'm not supposed to be lifing 50 lbs.!

This archaic message board needs an edit feature badly. I'm a careless speller/typist as you can see. Sorry.

I've noticed everyone always mentions the STIHL mist blower but there are a couple other brands out there. We have a Solo Mist Blower with a 3 gal tank we have been using for the last 3 year. Is comparable to the STIHL in every way. Just throwing that out there, there are other brands too.

I have been considering getting one too. We are expanding from 1200 square feet to almost 3000. Spraying already takes way too long.
Can you spray anything from it? Pesticides, fungicides, fertilizers...of course taking into account the necessary precautions for chemical interaction, etc.
Are the particles small enough that they get carried far in the wind? Contamination to neighbors, etc?

It is a very cool tool. Time saving and will greatly improve the coverage you will get from your sprays.
