We have had an amazing year of growing Giant Pumpkins 10 pumpkins over 1500 pounds with 3 of them at 1600 plus pounds. The growers who broke 1500 pounds had a fantastic season as well as many others as well.Never did anyone here think 1500 pounds could go down this many times in one year.It all started with Ron Wallace growing his 1502 in 2006 and teaching us all how to do it with his speaches at the seminars.I say this possiblity was thanks to him.
Here is a look at our Top 10 Of 2007:
1.) Joe Jutras 1689 lbs. (998.6 Pukos X 1225 Jutras) 2.) Don Young 1662 lbs. (1068 Wallace X Sibbed) 3.) Dan McKie 1631.5 lbs. (1041.5 McKie X 1308.5 McKie) 4.) Bill Rodonis 1566 lbs. (1450 Wallace X 1231 Pukos) 5.) Quinn Werner 1556.5 lbs. (1308.5 McKie X 985 Werner) 6.) Dave Stelts 1537 lbs. (904 Stelts X 1407 Wolf) 7.) Pete Glasier 1535.5 lbs. (1092 Martin X 992.5 Glasier) 8.) Dave Stelts 1527.5 lbs. (1062.5 Stelts X 1370 Rose) 9.) Thad Starr 1524 lbs. (227 Leland X 985 Werner) 10.) Steve Razo 1521.5 lbs. (1068 Wallace X 968 Razo)
Awesome Job to J. Jutras, D. Young, D. McKie, B. Rodonis, Q. Werner, D. Stelts, P. Glasier, T. Starr, and S. Razo.
Also Awsome Job to everyone who had a great year...!!!!
(Ron we all appreciate you teaching us how to grow these things HUGE.Lets keep getting the even BIGGER)
Thanks!

I'd agree with CliffWarren, there is a huge variety of seeds that made it to the top ten. Everyone should wish not so much on securing the highly depleted 998.6 Pukos but have fun with the other proven seeds that are available. No seed really dominates the results of a year, there are others out there that have been proven time and again as well! Just my comment.
Congrats to all!!!
