for those of you who have had dripworks deign a watering system for you, what's best for watering?
T-tape? shrubblers? adjust-a-bubblers? something else?
thanks.

I use t-tape. Last year I used just 1/2" main lines with a transfer barb and 1/4" with 1 GPH drippers. Way too much time making and putting in the individual emmiters to each leaf node.
Now I run a 1/2" main line down alongside the main vine with a 1GPH emitter punched directly into the line at each node, plus I use t-tape and transfer barbs to follow all secondaries with t-tape.
I bury my vines, so to keep the soil on the vine dry to prevent rot, I leave my vines on the surface and mound dirt over them. Then I lay the t-tape next to it facing down to keep the dirt above dry, but damp below.
I will never go to overhead watering. The stuff from dripworks is great. This will be my 3rd year dealing with them and I have yet to have any issues.

T-Tape here. Very easy to work with and very adaptable......not to mention affordable. I do not water overhead, however.
I space the tape every 12" along the main line tubing. If you really want to customize your system, add shutoff valves between each tape section and the main line tubing or, to cut down on the number of valves, run a main line tubing for each plant off the main main line tubing with a shut off valve between the two. Or, combine both the above configurations.
Bottom line: a very adaptable and customizable system and easy to work with.

Pete,
I had DripWorks design my system. I simply told them what I was doing and they responded with a "parts list" of what they thought would work the best. Good people to deal with....LB

Wiz,
I'll do my best. I have a scanner, but don't know how to use it.......LOL. I'll have my 16 year-old daughter show me.

I will try to send a diagram tomorrow to show what my setup is like too.
