I've been keeping records for over 10 years and no one has challenged the NJ State record. Come on growers, someone in NJ must have grown a pumpkin larger than 816.5 pounds. If not... congrats to Ed for holding the record for 17 years.

The name you seek is Gary Novak, however I don't think that the weight is official because if you look at the picture on the website you can see that the pumpkin was weighed with the tarp underneath. Not to worry, I think that the NJ record will fall on Saturday.
