First things in order, Congrats to Al! Also congrats to George J with his 1066 and thanks for his hard work in founding and organizing the IGPGA! Also to Joe Richards for one beautiful pumpkin and a great year. Great lifting team and MC, The whole weigh-off was a class act.I want to mention another class act- Gene McMullen, His monster that was taping well over 1500# couldn't get to the scales because of major rot that was discovered yesterday when harvesting for the weigh-off today.

Epimedium, I wish I met you, I live here in Harvard. Look me up I work here at Royal Oak Farm on Hebron Rd.
Dick, Shameless promotion here, the 1427 was grown on the 1248 Ford.

Congrats Al, you did well my friend and make me very proud to pass off the title!!!
Jim you wanted a little "rivalry" I hope this qualifies even with your mixed emotions since it was your great seed,,,lol
Gene, George, and Joe well done, great group of growers that no one will take for granted in the future. Jim get that patch prepped yet?
CWPG is making some progress, give that George J some help and backing and we'll get the contral midwest some long overdue recognition.

Al, When you asked me how heavy I thought it looked and I told you it looked like something around 995, you should have slugged me. But, you were merciful and didn't slap me around. Thanks. It was great to see you win! Wow! an amazing punkin! Congratulations Greg
