I went to www.azomite.com and after watching a few videos I'm convinced it might be a good thing for pumpkins. It is crushed rock,all minerals.

I threw down 30 lbs in the patch this year. I spread some on the lawn too with 2 untreated checks & saw no difference whatsoever. That said, if there HAD been a micronutrient deficiency it might have been noticeable.

Tremor, what about the plants health? did it keep your plant healthy, did it get any diseses.

I've used azomite ... it's similar to ironite, in that it provides micronutrients. If you are deficent in those then adding some would help like tremor said. I don't think azomite is a contributor to plant heath other than that. It's not a magic cure all. After using it I still get PM, spider mites and all the other problems that I normally have.
