crud i'm freaked out something will happen to my pumpkins last night of growing. before i enter my pumpkin into my local fall fair does anybody get that feeling.

Ha, Ha! Good one Ed! Yeah scbbbc, I'm not ashamed to say I was going nuts. For the past couple years anything that could go wrong did go wrong and I never got one to the weigh-off. I never knew it was possible to hold your breath for over a week but I'm pretty sure I did. Trust me, you will sleep very well after your weigh-off. GOOD LUCK!

Get ready for the PPD...Post Pumpkin Depression. I'm suffering big time. I bet I've wandered around the empty patch for over 2 hours in the past week, just feeling sad! Can't bring myself to do any of the work in the patch that needs done.....PPD, it's a bad thing!

I still have a week to go before our weigh off - having a tough time sleeping, concentrating at work, paying attention to my family...just can't stop thinking about making it through the final week hoping the pumpkin will stay together through nasty weather.
