Hey everybody, its been too long. Sometimes life just gets in the way of pumpkin growing. LOL. Anyhow, I hope everyones season has progressed/ended well.
I will be at Port Elgin, so I hope to meet a bunch of you guys there. I wasnt going to bring anything due to size and the lack of ability to bring it home because I thought the weighoff was only sunday and I have to leave before it will be done for thanksgiving, but the international is on saturday so I will bring my weak entries for an official weight. If I am lucky I can do 500 and 400, but only if I am lucky and they go a little heavy.
Blah, blah, blah. Anyhow, my question is in regards to seed harvesting. If I harvest the fruit in a couple days, will the seeds still be good (not rotten) if I keep the fruit cool, when I carve it a couple days before halloween?
I really want the seeds to share with new growers who want free seeds.
Thanks

JRO, seems like every pkn is a little different, some last a long time, some dont. Keeping it cool will prbly prolong its stableness. If it starts to get a soft spot somewhere, act quickly!!!! Once they start to go, they go quickly!!! Don't just look, but smell also.... Hope this helps. Peace, Wayne

if the fruit is sound there should be no problem with the seeds, but keep it cool
