Perhaps someone can help. We have a grower in New Mexico that had his pumpkin weighed on a certified scale and wants to see if he can get it officially recorded for a state entry so they can get started. There is no GPC weigh off in his state. How can we get this registered for a new state?
Any help out there?
Please let me know
Thanks

Certified Scale, lots of pictures and witnesses. Post them and send the info to Duncan.

Yeah he contacted me asking the same questions. I pretty much explain it in my diary. Should have the county extension agent out there to certify it is in fact a "pumpkin" and not something else.

NM needs their record bumped up to a respectable level.

Yes, I know 311 pounds is a little wimpy compared to the other states. Beleive me, growing two pumpkins on one plant with both on secondary vines will not happen again. Lets see, what do I need to beat 469 pounds ..???
