Colo.Spgs.CO. Pikes Peak Chapter @ [email protected]

I would like to thank the group of northern Colorado growers of the RMGVG for a well attended and good weighoff at Jareds Garden Center, with a new Colorado state record set at 1075 pounds by Joe Scherber. Many good conversations abounded, As I really Had a great time as well as an eyefull of nice fruits. Special thanks to THE WIZ ( Gary Grande ) for a well run event which we all know is time comsuming and at times stressfull to organize and make happen.
Colorado Has one more on Oct. 6, Saturday And who knows ??? What biggies can arrive of the next weigh off...Will the state record hold ???? Or will it Fall???? And by whom....I guess We will have to place our bets and see what happens......What a fun time of the year....JK

Thanks to the grower in Colorado Springs for coming up to the weigh off... looking forward to this Saturday ! You guys hold them together and keep the snow off them !! grOw'z em biG !!

Great Job by all the growers...Thanks James for the kudos it has been a great year for sure. One more event left next week in the springs.....

Currently Joe Scherber is in the lead for the RMGVG Growers Cup with his 1075 winner at Jareds....well see if that can be out done in CO Springs.....but a ***new PB for Joe!!!
How bout that Barry Todd! 3rd heaviest ever grown in Colorado at 910 and a ***new PB....Nice Barry.....
Oh and that Colorado Rookie of the Year so far goes to Jim "TheBiz" Grande.....757 lbs first time out.....he beat The Wiz by plenty........The Wiz with his new ***PB of 651 lbs and a current Colorado State Green Squash Record of 311. Purrtyiest on the site was taken by "TheWiz" grown off of the 1191 Zunino....
Great Job by all Colorado Growers.....see you next week in the Springs......
