I am hoping to plant some Big Pumpkins here in Malaysia, with the seeds promised by the generous BP community. Malaysia has a temperature between 28 C to 32 C throughout the year. I have two local varieties (very small - less than 20 lbs) that grow very easily here. I want to try out your big ones. Your suggestions will encourage me.

I think 80F to 90F are the general thoughts.

I agree 85 is about the perfect spot. Anything over stresses the plant. Anything under will grow slower. Get some good seeds and grow huge.

Duria, if you set between 28c and 32c you should be fine that's around 82F and 90F so you are in the perfect range.

Length of Daylight is just as important as heat.

humidity seems like the only problem you may have problems with fungus.
