My son Riley got a 786lber off the 1502 Wallce and he won the junior division of the Santa Cruz County Fair Sept.10th. (Actually, his was the largest pumpkin at the whole fair.) I won the senior division with a 688lber off the 983 Pukos. Both were our personal best pumpkins. Thanks for everyones help here on BP...we couldn't have done it without you. right on mikkal unfortunately we wont be getting any worth while quotes from this years addition of the buffalo bills or marve levy for that matter.

Thanks for the correction. I remember hearing clips of Van saying it on 1180 AM before his radio broadcasts on Sunday's. I thought it was the other way around with Marv picking up from Van.

Cindi- We are close to Half Moon Bay and right on the coast too. I will introduce myself to you there. I know George Webster and met him there a few years back. I'm hoping to go to Elk Grove too. I've never been to Paso or the Salinal weigh-offs. Paso Robles is about an hour and half from us. We only had two pumpkins this year so both have been weighed so we will go to watch. Kristine, we will be looking for you at elk grove and half moon bay. george is going to miss those two due to his 40th wedding anniversary. for some reason his wife does not think of pumpkin weigh offs as a place to celebrate their marriage! how strange!!!! george will be at salinas and uesugi farms though. it is going to be a fun weigh off season. soon, cindi
