Ron, Great job! Oh for 30 more pounds! You'll probably get it next year.
I like to gripe about my climate, but Riverton Wyoming is much more of a challenge than where I live.

great post Scott,,,congrats Ron!!
I for one understand adverse weather and have the highest respect for those that push the bar despite of it,no matter if it's the cold, extreme heat, permafrost, desert, or high altitude, these growers deserve recognition for taking the sport to new levels no matter what it takes to get big fruit.

Good Job Ron. I planted your 815 Seed you gave me this year and its doing really well. From start to finish it was my fastest and steadiest grower. Thanks again and Congrats on a fine pumpkin.

Thanks everyone! Now I'm pretty sure it's possible to grow 1000 lber in Wyoming. lol!
Scott, thanks, & my email is [email protected]
I think Brian C has worse weather than most of the Wyoming growers. Frost in late June & late Aug if I remember right. Despite that, he'll probably out pound me again this year! :-)
Jason, thanks again for growing my 815. I can't wait to see what the final weight is. I'll be taking my 815 fruit to Cheyenne. It wasn't my fastest grower, but it was my steadiest, and most importantly.....NO SPLITS!!! lol!
Bryson, I won't be able to make the Utah weigh off. My plants were frosted out a couple weeks ago, so I'm ready to get the remaining fruits weighed.
Thanks again everyone!
