Well this year was my first actual year growing giant pumpkins, and man am I hooked. It was an interesting year. On Aug,21 my 734.6 Leonzi went down to a rib split on a dill ring. It taped 324" weighed 613. Early on it was hitting nearly 1100 bench marks, real orange. Personal best was the 953.5 werner 340" weighed 797 at booya days festival in cadott on sept 21. My 723 Langevin was around 312" weighed 717. The rest of pumpkins are still in the patch, will weigh soon. I crossed the 953 werner with the 734.6 Leonzi, crossed the 734.6 with 1037.5 Bobier. can't wait till next year. Thanks to all persons on here and to those who who supplied the seeds to be available. Oh my 797 and 717 took 1st and 2nd place at booya days, 3rd was grown from a 538 Beauchemin plant I give a guy who wanted to grow a giant, also his first year. It weighed 580. He said he was hoping I wouldnt get off work, "I nearly missed weigh offs," Thanks again to everyone who are kind enough to help out a newbie. I really enjoy passing it on. GROW EM BIG
