Great looking pumpkin and family. I am in the same boat. Two beautiful daughters here though, and a beautiful and understanding wife. The kids really light up come fair time and we have a couple of big ones to take and without the patience of a good wife that would not be possible. All the long hours in the patch and the trips to the patch after dark with a flashlight must really seem crazy to most but in the end it is worth the work.

Nine images.
I'm glad to see that the "cross town rival" thing got squashed. The writer was looking for someting else for the article but it came out good.

Guys, Nice article, that's what it's all about friendship, family, and big pumpkins. Now if you could just throw in a fishing trip and a 6 or 7 lb. bass the world would be perfect. lol
Ray that's a beautiful family you have there. Same set up as mine loving wife and 2 adorable little girls. Good luck next week.

A beautiful picture Ray! That's a great looking pumpkin. What seed grew it? You must be proud of your family and the pumpkin. Thanks for sharing.

you Boston fans are all the same Peter......lol
Thanks guys. The pumpkin is off the 998 Pukos. Believe me Doug, I have no record yet. The newspaper probably put the kabash on me....There are plenty of big ones in CT this year that can take it. My goal is 1082 for a new personal best.
