I sincerly want to thank all of the helpful members of BigPumpkins. Your knowledge and dedication to this sport are truly priceless. No where else can you find people who support you, want you to succeed, want you to better yourself, learn and grow (em big). I have never incountered a group of people who are more helpful and willing to share information. Most of the time in life, people are willing to share, if it benefits them in some small way. Or gets them a step ahead of the competition, but not here. John and I won the blue ribbon at our county fair. The pumpkin taped out at 450 pounds. Not a world record, but our record. I couldn't be more proud. Thank you to every one of you who answered one of my silly questions, took time to read my diary and email me or to sit and chat with me. We have a blue ribbon!! Thank you!!

It took me 4 seasons to break 400 lb so don't poo poo your achievement.
