I was out in the patch looking around trying to get an attack plan for next year. Then I realized I needed to thank all the people at BP for the valuble information they have shared to help me come up with a plan! This year was not a great year,BUT A GREAT LEARNING EXPERIENCE.My personal best was only 195# on store bought seeds.I have already acquired some good seeds and would like to thank the growers that sent them. I also look forward to getting some this winter from you very nice growers.I am excited to see what next year holds for me with my giant pumpkins and giant watermelons, have even thought about trying to grow a long gourd. AGAIN THANKS TO ALL AT BIG PUMPKINS .COM AND HAPPY GARDENING!!! BO

BO, IMHO, lately there has seemed to be a lot of conflict with new growers....deserved or undeserved....I think that your current post is incredible!!! You figured it out pretty quickly!!! Great site, with lots of incredible info., and lots of generous folks, willing to give what they can, when they can!!! Grow em Big next year!!!! Peace, Wayne PS...my first year was 210, and I was very impressed, as was everyone who saw it!!!!

My first year pumpkin was a 161 and won first place for squash. The highlight of the year was when I took a picture of my wife in the patch. The guys were really amazed that I could get her to even admit I was trying to grow GP's. Half million qustions later, I am still growing, posting, asking stupid questions and occationally getting publically ridiculed just for fun.
