I am growing an Atlantic Giant Pumpkin from seeds that I received from a friend in Colorado. All of his pumpkins were orange. This is my first year growing and I have about a 350 pound pumpkin that is still white. The pumpkin was polinated around July 30th. Will it turn orange? Anything I can do to help it out?

It could be the normal color. If there is any orange in your pumpkin you can try rubbing some olive oil on it just before you display it. olive oil intensifies the color. If not some people on here have spray painted there pumpkin orange with good results. Good luck

it's been suggested to me by and "artsy" friend that you should actually use sponge (faux) painting for realism ;-)

Did you get them from the Wiz or the Biz or Longbeard? Because that could be the problem too.

I got the seeds from a friend of mine Tom H. who passed away in March of this year. The last thing he gave me was Atlantic Giant Pumpkin seeds and instructions on how to grow them...

let it get all the sunshine it can, if you are not worried about growing more, cut it off and it will color if it was meant to
