Well well well, we find ourselves once again faced with the ultimate thread... The rumor mill. For you newbies, this happens once a year and it is a great chance to BS your way to stardom. (It is also a way to get your toughest rival to blow a pumpkin up trying to catch a phantom pumpkin and overfertilizing at the last minute). With that said, here we go....
I have heard that there is one that tapes out bigger than the infamous Checkon monster coming from Ohio.
I also caught wind of both the California and Oregon records are going to take it in the chops this year.
Will we see a back to back from you know who?
I also saw a photo of a VW Bug parked in a pumpkin patch with a vine attached to it from another midwest state.
What have you heard?

this is the time of year when the monster pumpkins do exist. there are a lot of over 400 inch ott pumpkins out there and it sure would be great for the hobby if all made it to the scale.--- but they dont its also the time of year when lots of these over 400 inch pumpkins are suspect because of nursing soft spots on stems, plants that are suspect, rotted bases, leaf blights ,powdery mildew, and the list goes on. from here on out lady luck also plays a role in your season. yes there are some really big monsters out there right now. ---- same as last year. pap

If 30% of the 400" (plus) fruit from the Midwest make the scales there will be big rumbles from the region ;-)

I heard that wiz is trying to use his magical power and keep away the coldweather for a while. Also he is using his powers for good and helping us all grow that extra pound or 100 pounds in my case.
Thanks wiz lol

I have looked into the Seeing Stone. Many great seeds this year were sown.
The California record is a thing of the past. Twice this fall it will be surpassed.
First at Elk Grove, then at Half Moon Bay. By what or whom, I cannot say.
