joe jutras and i were measuring his monsters last night, it was a six day measurement and on a couple the daily gain results were not as incouraging as we would have liked.
sooooooooooooooooooooo instead of dividing the total 6 day weight gain by 6? we divided by 3 - doubled the daily average and all was well again in jutraville.
any other great ideas?

You don't have to do all that dividing if right before you get ready to measure you will just cut about 3 inches off the little end of your tape.

When measuring a pumpkin, always add the OTT of its 5 p.m. shadow to the total inches.

another sure fire way to get those last minute weight gains is = cut 2 inches off the begining of the tape that you are useing. worked for me! cought my wife's pkn and she didn't know it....lol
