our patch radio is on 24-7 from start of season until the last pumpkin is picked

not for the pumpkins but for the deer . it seems to help keep the deer at bay. (along with the deer fence as well)

never without, like pap say's the music keep's the unwanted out of the patch.A small portable radio inside a zip lock bag work's great, local rock & roll station seem's to do the trick! Also work's great for skunk problems.

when we go out to tape every week i play " we will rock you" pink floyd i think.

if the measurements are not so good i will switch to a station with the tear jerking music " i raised you up " always seems to put us in a depression - lol

luckly we have not had to go off the clasic rock yet this year

I played conservative talk radio all summer long in my patch. It was a very bad idea. The pumpkins ended up conservative and showed it in their growth.

If I were to sing in the patch, I would be afraid they would stop growing permanently! LOL! And the only place you'll find me singing is either in the car or the shower. It's for the best really.

Now music in the pumpkin patch, hadn't thought about that. What would traditional country do to them, like Alan Jackson, Vince Gill, Randy Travis. Probably put them to sleep too, LOL!
