What is sapping and is it something to be concerned about? Why is the pumpkin doing it?

Ive heard but this isnt gospel by any means. Its like strech marks from growth is thats were its sapping from. I think its actually like cutting yourself and the you bleeding. Ive been told to try to clean it up with a 10 percent bleach and mater mixture. That is susposed to help Im told.

Jack Larue once told me that it is a sign that a fruit is going to go very heavy. Your biggest concern should be how you are going to lift it.

Vineman, really? I have never heard that before, I hope it comes true for me then. Sapping is also a good sign the pumpkin is still growing.
