Great showing. Keep growing and ask for better seeds now that you have proven to some that you can grow.

Great job, Homer. 1st year 230, 2nd year 234 or so. This year, humm. Down to one and a long way to go!

That is a great job for first year 300 is great. I thought I had a 300 pounder last year and it was 256! The reason, a very slanted one side of the pumpkin. It gave a very inaccurate circ. measurement. This year I am sitting at a very bad season. I had 4 very healthy pumpkins 2 weeks ago and now I am down to 2. One is hanging on by a thread due to stem stress, and the other so far so good and a whopping 256 pounds. Sound familiar?

You did great! Look ahead towards next year.
