Does anyone know what actually causes this "dry-rot" condition on the vine?It is only in certain areas that i have noticed were covered in dirt.Could the vine just have stayed wet for to long and actual rotted the aera and then when it dries give the appearance of "dry-rot"? It doesn't go all the way through just around the top part? Definately must impact growth..(See my diary entery for picture)
Thanks

Another Lesson learned...Look out 2008!!!
I got to thinking after I posted this is I hand broadcast 0-0-60(Murate of Potash) around the vines in this area and remembering what Tremor had said about using this same product to melt ice I bet I "salted" them dry!!!ugghhh
