First.....go to:
http://www.pumpkinnook.com/giants/record.htm
Then go to:
http://www.backyardgardener.com/record.html
Not only do you now have 2 new pumpkin websites to surf.....now you know that Ben Bushsieb holds the current record of 469 lbs grown in 2007.
You live in Minnesota.....moving to Arizona soon??

The most "official" records I found was on Backyardgardener.com. Since Brian there only updates in the fall, my record is not showing up yet.
check out my diary for all the details. Yes it was 469 lb.

F..surfer,
Don't ask a question and then dispute the answer when it is given to you on a silver platter....read and absorb facts first.

Glenn, I think fogsurfer, wrote "no" meaning he's not moving to Arizona. I believe he is correct in stating that Duster's seed grew the Arizona state record. It was grown by Ben B., and you gave him the correct answer. I don't think fogsurfer was disputing your answer. Just trying to clear up any miscommunication. I do this for a living....not really LOL.

Yeah, my 754 grew the state record for Ben. The seed hasn't been grown by more than 5 or 6 people I know of and 90% of them have grown a personal best with it. Grows fruit that seem to be a slight wheel in shape with light to medium orange. The original 754 was 18% heavy in super high heat conditions. The last report I got was a new personal best for a friend in the LA area, 9.5 % heavy to the chart and blew away his personal best. It's a good seed. Not one splitter so far! oops, just jinxed it lol
