I just bought Sevin, not the powder but the dilutable concentrate and was wondering if someone could tell me the proper ratio to dilute it. It doesn't say on the back and I don't want to not add enough or add too much. Also, will this take care of squash borers, cucumber beetles and any other pest that is attracted to pumpkin plants? Is this the best to buy or should I also buy Diazinon and some others I have heard about? Thank you ~I just wanted to mention that this website has become my 'pumpkin bible'; I visit this everyday and more than once, usually.

This is only my third year, so I don't know alot but sevin is all I use. I use it as a dust when the plants are young and the swith to liquid. Does an excellant job with those rotten cucumber beatles. I'm not sure about the ratio I'd have to look but I think I just followed the directions for the other veggies on the bottle

Thank you Amy for your input. I looked a little harder and found that the ratio is 4 tsp. of Sevin to each gallon of water. Another good thing about Sevin is that there is zero days to wait after applying Sevin to harvest.
