Congrats to all that brought a solid fruit, damaged fruit, or just tried to grow a fruit!
Bill / Dean and others, if you could post the cross of your pumpkins I'm sure many here including myself would be interested.

Alexander Bogie 488LBS (6th Place) 1213Foss06 x SELFED. Plant grown in an area of 192.5 sq.ft. (11'x17.5') We were still doing 11-12LBS a day when cut for fair. Lost to 5th place by 12LBS! LOL

Alex, Next year run the main in through your side door and pollinate in the basement? Trellace the side of the house for additional Square footage for the plant and you'll have 1K no problem!!!! Get a Kevlar backpack for additional protection as well. Very nice pumpkins must've shown up after we left! Nice pumpkin, Nice sunflower and nice tomatoes!!!

It was fun to see the giants at the fair everyone! This is my first year growing these giants and it was great to see what experienced growers are capable of producing. My pumkins warped the plywood I had them on and I had to drill drainage holes so that water would not pool when it rains.
