Subject: big ones going over a grand

By the looks of things this year, and by talks I think there might be a record this year of pumpkins going over a 1000lbs, what do you guys think by what you been hearing?

Last year we had 7 over 1000 lbs in Europe. I'd be surprised if we got close to that this year. Each and every country in Europe has had pretty extreme weather. Either cold and wet or exceptionally hot.
There should be a few though, but I'm not sure if the ER will fall this year.

Here in Illinois & the Midwest, there will be several. We lost a lot of big ones too. It has been very wet lately and now hot.

I predict that there will be some big ones in michigan this year. hopefully a couple from my patch. lol

very possible the world record will be challanged by at least three people that i know of ---- ron wallace, joe jutras and a player who wishes to remain annomous could there be more out there? only the shadow knows ? tis a long way yet to go before they can sleep. pap

I bet Bill Foss challenges it (world record), and breaks the current Minnesota record this year.
