I just got off the phone with Keith (burrhead) who was on his way back to West by God Virginia. He told me that Joe Richards took first place at Indiana State Fair bring the 3rd biggest pumpkin ever to the scales!!! 1,468 lbs. More great news Frank Mudd beat his old record of 996 pounds to break the Kentucky State record and take second place! I cannot remember the weight (sorry Frank) but it was over 1,000 pounds. Great job guys!

Yes I wanted to include John and James getting 3rd and 4th place, but didn't remember what their pumpkins weighed either. LOL I don't know what Joe grew his off of but I know Frank Mudd's was greown from the 781.5 Companion. John's was grown from the 736 Van Hook (KPM yep that's right!), and James' was grown from the 1231 Pukos.
