I first posted this in the "other, non pumpkin related" forum. But I guess it's still about pumpkins:)
To make a long story short we are moving this fall. I will still have my patch where I try (emphasis on try) to grow AG:s, but I also plan to grow some smaller pumpkins in my new garden. So, my question is, you have any advice on bushy pumpkin plants that don't spread out so much but rather stay in the shape of a bush?

Racer spread out quite a bit for me last year.
A true bush pumpkin with lots of 5-8 lb pumpkins is "Orange Smoothie"
Real compact and the pumpkins are smooth enough to paint on. The only problem is you need to watch it close for powdery mildew. But, a high yielding plant, and mine didn't spread out 7 feet wide last year.

You are just starting to plant in Sweden? I always think that your climate is similar to North Dakotas, but I am sure I am wrong.
I bought my orange smoothies from Johnny's last year. I think it is Johnnysseed.com or something similar. They are based out of Maine, USA.

I started last year and got "the mad-pumpkin disease", so this year I've been growing for real. Got a patch where I "try" to grow 2 AG:s - but the unusually raine weather in july kind of spoiled it. But I already have plans for next summer.
I think the area where Lilja and Gustavsson grow are about similat to North Dakota. But I live apprx 800 km north of them, heh.
Thanks for the tip about Orange Smoothies, will make sure to get some seeds:)
