My family and I drove out to see MasterGardener Bill Foss's pumpkin patch tonight, it really looked great. Now I know what a atlantic giant pumpkin patch is suppose to look like, someday maybe I'll have one that looks like it. I also took a picture of my two boys, Dylan, Gabriel & Bill Foss next to a 1,000 pd pumpkin.

Hey Fogsurfer, You have those pictures posted yet of Bill's many, many 1,000 pounders? I'd love to see them! Bill said I have to wait for the next movie but the anticipation is killing me...lol

Have you visited his patch, it looks professional as could be to me. My family and I got there at dusk and a storm was moving in, we did'nt have time.

Chris, Bill is one of the best when it comes to pulling out from know where a more then 1000lber outta of his hat.

Fog, I thought you said you had a picture of the family standing by the 1000 lb brute, dont change your story now! Ha!!

Not Bill??? Nobody knew what he was bringing to Stillwater until he pulled up the trailer. Then we still wondered how deep he had the blankys piled up on that HUGE mound. Well the blankets weren't very thick! The fruit sure was.

Fogsurfer, What I think happened is that you were taken to Bill's "Practice Patch" The one he shows people. I think he has an underground Pumpkin cave where he keeps the big one's growing.. And like Brooks said, You said you took pics, Now where are they?

My wife and I are trying to put it on the computer, we have'nt figured out how yet. We used our digital camera, it is on the computer now were trying to put it on bigpumpkins. I was going to put it on a diary, me might just try putting it in the picture section.

Chris, I saw the 1213 that was at Stillwater in August at Bill's patch. Never did I think it was going to go that heavy. We must have visited when it was 1000 or so...and that shape...unreal...sure is amazing and hard work I bet the general public doesn't understand....I'm growing the 1213 in my backyard as my only plant. My fruit will be at the MN state fair, hopefully right next to Bill's;)
