The trip was 2 fold..one to visit a very very sick young man from our church who is about to go thru some life changing or life ending surgery.... the second reason was to view Bill Foss's Movie which was made by Bill's son Ryan and a friend named Chris...?? something..sorry Chris...LOL ANyways Beth and I thoughly loved the whole thing..Funny....sad..(splitters) and exciting all rolled into one...this is a must see for all people not just pumpkin growers...the crowd, and I use the word crowd because there was alot more people there then I thought, was laughing and oohhhh and aaahhhhing alll along the way....GO SEE IT if you get achance... DAN PS....and guess what..the star of the show sat right next to me..BILL FOSS himself was there.THANKS Bill!!! it was a blast.. I can't wait to see it again...

We all wish the best and a speedy recovery for the young man and to those who are suffering.
We would also like to thank all the people from Iowa for their support and hospitality at Landlocked Film festival in Iowa City. We truly enjoyed our visit and the crowd was awesome. The family friendly full length documentary Bill's Big Pumpkins was awarded second place. Fantastic.
Ryan will post on BP when it will be showing at other Film Festivals around the country.

First the important stuff..Name is Tommy. He is 19 and has a disease passed on thru his mothers Genes..only effects Male off spring. His brother Pass away 2 years ago at age 19. This family has been thru alot Neither son was expected to live past the age of 12 or 13 ...that Said the younger Sister is providing Bone marrow for Tommy. The procedure something like Keme to kill all Tommy's bone marrow and then reintroduce his sisters good stuff.IF he body excepts it ...He COULD be cured...if he rejects it..Let's just not go there.Pray for a miracle at this point... This is something that hasn't been tried for this type disease I guess..Anyways we are all praying for the best! The seed was a 1073 C&P from 2006 the Movie "Bill's Big Pumpkin" I do believe. DAN PS....No shotgun Scotty...LOL!!
