Hey Gang just letting you know Marc and I had to weigh our state fair fruit a bit early. The Fair is on August 16th and we had our fruit split about 8 days ago..We let her grow as long as she could and when growth stopped we decided it was time. So we loaded her up and last night I scaled her at my place of employment with a few fellow workers as witnesses came up with a official weight . She taped to 402 Inches at 103 X108 X 191. 64 days old...(growth stopped on day 61 I do believe).
The scale read 1353# .....just thought some of you might like to know...Yea we are bumming but hey it was fun and you can't complain about a fruit like that ...split or not it still is pretty decent!!!

There's nothing offical about a split squash, that was weighed on a work scale, with a bunch of your friend as witnesses, But congrats on a big one. 1353 Dmg.

Just a note to "little pumpkin grower's" post. It's been a long long week..long work hours and alot of efforts have been Made by Marc and I to get this thing to a scale..AS far as the scale and it's legitimacy. It is a scale that they use to sell polyethelene in 1500 pound boxes and it is calibrated every month. So that makes it pretty darn official in my book. Mike Frantz has been there He can attest to the Scale also.

even if the "work scale" was off by 300 lbs. I'm guessing the pumpkin is still heavier than anything "little pumpkin" has ever grown. Great job Danny and Marc!
