Not many days left until the Iowa State Fair. I am already up there camping out, watching the merchants set up and will be judging 4-H photography on Tuesday and Wed. (Aug 7-8) If you have never visited the fair and the camp ground you would be amazed to find a city of over 6,000 arise from the ground for the fair. Usually over 3000 campers will set up. Matter-of fact, on Sat there were already 1200 camping units on the campground.
ARE THERE ANY RUMORS OUT THERE ON WHO WILL BRING THAT $1000 PUMPKING TO THE FAIR AND IF IT WILL BEAT THE STATE FAIR RECORD.
Wish it was me but this was not my year to even grow a 200 pounder.
