i got a late start this year. my best plants' main vine is about 16 ft long. i have two pumpkins pollinated and i'm not allowing anymore females to evolve. my biggest pumpkin is set about 8ft out and is at maybe 40 inches in circ. i have a second one set at around 11ft though is the size of a soft ball. should i keep the two for a while to see what is growing faster or is it to late and should i just go with the bigger one and eliminate the small on immediatly.

There were 1000lb pumpkins grown at under 10'. Not sure what you would get for two feet. BUT - I am not going to even guess which one you should keep. If it was mine I would be culling one off while I tripped and fell on the other.
