If your pumpkin is in the stage of max growth,,does a high pottasium speed it up? an if it is, should u do this, with the risk of blowing em,,,,or wait til it slows down?.. and does a fert increase daily gains?

what kind of fertilizer is high in potassium?

i use 0-0-45 about 1.5 lbs per plant, no more ! and it seems to work for me pumpkin are great consumers of pottasium and this will help to keep thing level in the patch.
