I got a bottle of Snapple today and under the lid it said "Real fact #209 the largest pumpkin ever grown weighed 1,061 lbs." Very up-to-date info here lol

I would check the date code on the bottle. Also, make sure it is not from China.

Hmmm, that was probably the largest grown pumpkin with the vine that snappled off?

Naw, that was my pumpkin last year at Stillwater, MN. Shannon used a 4x lens for a photo op. So therefore the 234lber looked like a 1061. See you there this year fog?

Nathan and Paula Zehr 1996, 1061 pound world record.
The first world record over 1000 pounds. Their 1061 was weighed at the WPC weigh off in Collins, NY. Bill Greer of Ontario, Canada also produced a 1006 pound pumpkin in 1996.
Thanks!
