I posted a picture in my diary at
http://www.bigpumpkins.com/Diary/DiaryViewOne.asp?eid=69910
regarding a wierd mottling/colour patern that has popped up over the past few days. We've had over a week of very cool and very wet weather and I'm thinking that the plant is lacking something...any advice from others that have experienced this type of leaf mottling? Pap, Brooks, Quinn, Jake, Bridgette, Shannon, Craig or any of my other pumpkin buddies have anything to pass on in the way of advice on this?
I've got the full agro-k program so let me know if you think something has leached from my soil due to all the wet weather and I'll try to fix it.
Thanks/Glenn

Cool wet weather often leads to a lack of chlorophyll to which many folks respond with Nitrogen. If N is leaching out this will help but I'd give the plant some time in the sun first. Leaves need sunlight to make chlorophyll.

What does the rest of the plant look like? Iam having some issues something similar.Mine starts from the tip, turns yellow, leaves get wrinkled, then my fruit aborts.Iam having some tissue test done soon.So i hope i can tell you all what it is.My nephew is having the same thing happen to his.Had 8 plants, down to 3 now.

I agree with Tremor Glenn, the newer growth past my pumpkin looks like your leaves do. Also check the bottom of the leaves for them white mites.
So how big is that pumpkin now Glenn? 1200, 1300, or 1400 lbs? Sorry Glenn, but I just gotta tell everyone about the pumpkin you have hidden in the back of your patch. lol
