Ok--so I was scared it would burst cause it had shallow cracking around the stem. So I didnt water for a day after all the rain. And only watered a little yesterday. The growth slowed down ALOT. Plus it rained so much that I had females pollinating everywhere cause i didn't get out there and trim during rains. They were all cut off yesterday. Terminated 5 secondaries yesterday. Maybe that will speed things up. Yall say to PUSH IT. Besides watering,(which im afraid to over water) is there a special fertilizer that helps also. I think all my nutrients was flushed away during our mini monsoon. Next 4 days will be 100% sunshine. Does Vigor Calcium increase the pumpkin growth? I have some of that but with all the rain I havent been able to spray.

Something high in potassium, Carolyn. I am currently using Urea-Mate 5-10-27 which is water soluble and readily available to the plant.
And yes, Vigor-cal is good, too, in addition. Applying directly to the fruit itself is beneficial too.
Use your fert weekly to begin with. After a couple of weeks, you can use more regularly say, every 10 days. But let the fruit determine this. Patience is a virtue.

Oh, and apply through the soil and drench in. Foliar feeding 5-10-27 or any other such fertilizer can burn.
