We had a heavy rain last night and I was out pollinating this morning and while facilitating pumpkin sex, the female's girl parts just broke off inside the flower. I had never had this happen before. This ever happen to anyone else? i was guessing it was due in part to the high water content.

Seriusly though Matt, that is weird that happend, maybe it was already aborting before the flower even opened, I dunno? Weird though.
