My young Son has one AG in a 7 gallon pot. He wants to know how often he should water this plant?

What kind of drainage does the pot have? The problem with a pot this small is trying to provide the essential nutrients the plant desires at the correct amount and time. It is almost like a hydroponic plant. I bet the pot is filled solid with roots at the end of the season.

As long as it's got great drainage and you're having HOT and DRY weather... Have him water it until water's running freely from pot for at least a minute.. May have to do this 1-3x per day..

Have FUN!!!

BTW If the pot is situated in your yard, the plant will make a secondary root system from it's vines - when they touch the ground...
