Subject: how late am i ?

im just trying to get an idea of what to expect from my plant up here in nh. my plant is about 13ft out with some decent secondaries. i hope to have pollinated my first pumpkin by the 20th. i guess im just trying to configure a plan for my plant care according to whats still possible from it.

It depends alot on the genetics of your plant, but it's still possible to get a huge pumpkin with late pollinations. A world record possibility is dwindling. We like to get our pollinations done by the first week in July for fair winning sizes. Having said that, I just pollinated the first one on one plant today, and will do the first on another plant tomorrow. This is the latest I've ever been pollinating the first pumpkin on a plant, but still should be able to get 600-900 pounds off of them.
